What's New in ReportLab 1.21
After a fairly long gap since version 1.20, in which we have been working on version 2.0, version 1.21 of the ReportLab open-source toolkit has been
released.
This release requires Python 2.3.
As a stable release, this concentrates firmly on bug-fixes rather than new features.
There are too many small changes to list here in full. Some of the more noticeable changes are as
follows:
Noteworthy bug fixes
- Fixes to TTF splitting (patch from Albertas Agejevas)
- This affected some documents using font subsetting
- Tables with spans improved splitting
- Splitting of tables across pages did not work correctly when the table had row/column
spans
- Fix runtime error affecting keepWithNext
